I’ve migrated

January 1st, 2006 by mzsheera

Heyya darlings,

It has been a long long while since I last update my blog. Not that I’m not having an interesting life since but I am a boring person. Do not expect much from me. Due to my upcoming pre-midlife crisis, I have made a decision to move on and do what i’ve always wanted for years. I have been busy migrating !

Yes it’s true. I’ve migrated to a new place and been spending time trying to fit in. There’s a lot of adjustment to do. I am not very familiar on how things are done and hoping that I would keep myself out of trouble.

It’s been a lonely journey. I tried asking for help but people I know has or at least was busy to help out. I do not blame them because my decision to migrate was ad hoc and without much consultation.

I should have warned or informed earlier but i was too occupied with work and pre-mid life I hadn’t the time to stop and take the changes in.

Now that we’re technologically advanced, we are able to retain our friendship, wherever we are.

I’m at mzsheera.blogspot.com

If you have the time, do pop by and say hi. I may not be able to attend immediately but I will every chances I get.

What ? What did you have in mind ? Out of country ?

Noooooo…..I move blog.

That’s all :-)

Syawal Miracle 2005

November 14th, 2005 by mzsheera

Like an answered prayer, we made amend and create new ties between us relatives regardless whatever happen in the past, which does not concern us, the children, anyways.

This is the hope of our generation. This is our wish. And most importantly, this is our cry to stay related.

Asyukur’ lillah

Everything ends eventually :-<

All good things must come to an end isnt it. I’ve been on 13 days break and by Monday, it’s back to the same old same old life *sigh*

It has been a brilliant Aidilfitri. Time of forgiveness, hugs and kisz and yearly family photo updates with my parent and sisters. Glad I have them and my nieces sure zerod-in their auntie’s pocket this year.

1st day alone, I visited 4 houses (it seems more though) and finished 1130pm, my house last stop.pweehhhhh…..btw purple seem to be the theme this year. 2nd day was an overwhelming experience when we visited my sinile aunty and face her feel-guilty-but-better-stay-compose daughter. 3rd day was funny coz my cousin bro accidently visited us when actually he was suppose to head to the other house. Got nothing against him so it was good that he did visit. For a moment I thought his sisters are being the bigger person…thanx to them, I was proven wrong ;-)

I attended my 1st Chinese wedding on the 4th day. Totally enjoyed the customs. My best wishes to Belle and Ming and thanx for inviting me and let me experience a beautiful Chinese wedding ceremony. Only thing that frustrated me that nite was running out of battery for my digicam. Yeah typical me. I sux !

Of course these are juz a brief summary of how my Raya has been. I always enjoy Raya because it is a time of catching up and gathering between friends and relatives…emmm…funny that i put friends ahead from relative huh :-/

Monday was a good example of friends catching up and pouring our hearts out about life and realizing that they feel empathy for me better than my relatives. Believe you me, I constantly dread meeting a relative or two coz their such b*&^%$. *Maafe zahire batine sawdare skliane*

I mean I have friends that I only meet up once a year but when we do we kinda know exactly what to say and most importantly appreciate each other’s company. Though, sometime, there should be boundary..firm boundaries on some matter like helping a mate get laid and masturbate…heheheh….typically as a good friend, I’ll try my very best to help but there’s only so much i can do… to help a friend out you know…I think that was the most productive talk I had all week =))

My 2nd week away from work was brilliant! I’ve never taken such long break from work before and it felt bloody good! I managed to do almost everything I thought I would and most importantly gad with some long-overdue friends. Ok ok it was pretty much typical week but doing it during weekdays whilst other bust their butt back at work and I didnt have too…that’s great in my view ok.

Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh….monday’s 2 days away !!!!!! nooooooooooo !!!!!!!

Anyways, as much as reality bites, it’s been all good.

I may have end my breakaway from work but the fun never end now does it….

7 years Click

October 26th, 2005 by mzsheera

It’s nothing to shout about but I’m overwhelm that after 7 years of constant bickering we finally managed a decent conversation. We accepted each other opinion without trying to make the person see eye to eye. After 7 years, we finally could actually….gosh it kills me to say this…truth tend to hurt…here it goes……get along :-O

I have to say that although I made a point not to have anything to do with him anymore in this lifetime, coz everytime we talked I end up feeling aggravated and so ticked off, I swear that’s the last time I’ll bother to give him the time of a day. But since I am incredibly nice and always believe in  giving chances (yes I’m loads of sod…occasionally), I allow myself to go through the same circle of frustration. But not last nite. Last nite was different. We actually had a healthy conversation. I’m surprise. Very. Only after 7 years, we finally could. Took us a long time ain’t it.

Anyways, I have to hand it to him. He never fails to send me a birthday wish ever since. I dissed him sometimes when he calls but he still remembers. For a person who cant tolerate me, he sure have patience. Anyways, it was an enlightening….emmmm…..moment I guess.

Bad ending could turn out to be a good……..eventually.

On My Burfday

October 17th, 2005 by mzsheera

FRIDAY

It started when….
Zul msg at 11pm to say that he’ll fetch me at 1130pm. Got ready by 1115pm. Lay on bed while waiting for him to arrive.

It ended with….
myself waking up at 430pm with 12 missed calls from Zul from 1135pm to 1205am !! Yes, it’s true. This is undeniably my first sabotage at a new age. Sorry Zul. Love you stil :-S

SATURDAY

It started with….
baking choc semprit right after sahur, a quick nap before shopping for curtains with mom (bought me a couple of top too), avoided going to the tailor to pick up baju kurung coz it’s not part of my budget this month (excuses…)

It ended with….
cake cutting after terawih (my nieces got so hype up and blew the candles. I didnt stand a chance :-O), met up with Sah and Noelyn’s at Lara’s (btw, Lara’s mom’s birthday same date as mine), gad mamak with Zul and Aisya (to compensate Friday…hehehe) at mamak next to hsbc in pj state and witnessed a Kenari lost control at a sharp turning in front of us and fell down in the parking lot landing sideway. What a spectacle ! and my cue to head home :->

SUNDAY

It started with….
me waking up at 930am to head down to the bakery shop and buy containers for kuih raya, waiting for Coremeng to fetch ayu & i (oppst had to turn back home coz of a fashion crisis…..ok it’s only earrings but i’m not gonna put on the same as ayu’s !!), picked up this chick named Ezz from wangsa maju side walk (she looks sane so we thought we’ll insane her), watched Longest Yard (funniest movie ever..i think we were the loudest bunch that laugh out loud like mad!!).

It ended with….
buka at saisaki and stayed til the shop closed ! Speechless on the way back coz we were too full to utter anything anymore.

GENERALLY
A fullfilling birthday celebration indeed.
Thanx y’ol for giving me a good start ! Y’ols the best *muahz*hugz*

Before midnight…

October 14th, 2005 by mzsheera

Today marked the last day before 15th October, where i aged closer to the next big leap of maturity of age. The second digit of my age has come to an end and I will no longer be in my adolescent years (at least i shouldn’t be…or can i??)

I may be facing pre-midlife crisis next year so people take note…hehehe…actually i do not know what to expect as i nearing a matured number (number not mentality!). Career’s look promising, financial sorting slowly, social life’s active but not as crazy as before, knowledge increased with current reading hobby (i’m talking educational materials like religion and general issue not Cleo and stuff ok), living healthily (is that even a word???) though i’m getting zit often that i ever had in my lifetime *sigh*

Sounds good so far. Nothing to ponder on, except i guess i miss my friends as we move on to fullfill individual achievement…CRAP !!

I’m turning a year older, wiser, smarter, gorgeous than ever, with a pinch of blur now and then and I’m loving every single moment of it!! Added with the fact that i don’t really look my age so that’s an exceptional bonus :-D

Thanx y’ol for the early wishes. Thanx for being such brilliant friends and thanx for making an afford to tell me i’m aging !!

Luv ya luv ya luv ya long long time bebehs !!!

Water on my bedroom floor

October 10th, 2005 by mzsheera

Wahhhhhhhhh….

Imagine waking up 430am in the morning to a drenched wet carpetted floor… I tell you I felt like I was sleeping in a lake !

Thanx to the *&^%$#@! contractor (fasting so cant swear) which been my financial misery for the last 3 years, the extraordinary happen. The balcony in my bedroom create a pool of rainwater from the non-stop-raining since 1am, managed to flood my bedroom.

I was appalled to see such disaster in my room ! My room had a natural catastrophe ! The carpet was all soaked and whatever was on the floors, was wet. Thank god the electrical fuse didnt get wet or else the room could have spark a fire. (Luckily couple of weeks ago I covered those bare wires with insulator tape which were nibbed by rats.) Oh that may not make sense but if the electric caught water and affected the floor, I would have been electricuted isnt it. Dang ! That thought just occur to me. OMG !! I could have died ! (too dramatic huh..but it’s true)

Spent the whole morning after sahur cleaning up the room. Had to take everything out, remove the carpet, clean the floor, look for carpet (mom insist I do this instantly coz she cant stand the sight of deterioting parque floors. money mom money…..), lay the carpets, put everything back in and since I’m at it, spruce up the room. By the time I’m done, it was past buka (of coz I continue after) and was totally tired like ‘ell !

My sis apparently had a major leak on her ceiling. She lives directly below the balcony. She noticed the water pouring like waterfall at 230am and managed to save from severe damage. It didnt occur to her that I was affected as well. Anyways, she didnt have permanent carpet laid in her room like i did.

What an unfortunate event…

On the bright side, at least I got new carpets…..*sigh*

Miracle of Ramadhan

October 10th, 2005 by mzsheera
  • Individual makes an effort to head home early for togetherness of berbuka
  • The only time I wake up 4am to "yamcha" with family. (Common timing with friends though…at least on saturdays *wink*)
  • Muslims, male and female, matured and young come together for a month of Terawih. Traffic congested every night entering the mosque. Not a common sight to see on normally.
  • Women driving or walking wearing telekung. The only time you know it is not a ghost for sure ;-O
  • Test of perseverance all muslims and self-control from swearing (though the tongue tend to slip. i’m not alone in this!)
  • Multiple Ramadhan Bazaar all over the country with varieties of food and snacks. A jolly time for muslims and non-muslims. A place where races unite for the same reason…food.
  • Company allows Malay staff to leave early to prep for buka.
  • Other race fast together just to join in the excitement.
  • Mamak still makes money when most F&B except hotels gets slow sales during ramadhan.

Stay united and HAVE A GOOD RAMADHAN !!

Pre-Ramadhan prep

October 3rd, 2005 by mzsheera

The whole of last week I’ve been reminded of the upcoming ramadhan. Beside from getting the usual mental prep ready for a month of fasting, there were other things to fulfill:-

  • as much possible chance to qba
  • as much possible time to gym before freezing
  • as much possible time karaoke-ing
  • as much possible ???????
  • as much possible work finish now than later

Update
Qba has a new band called "Asoka" that plays mean latin groove. They’re very energetic. Seems to pull in more crowds than before. Good crowds too, even some mates I haven’t seen a long while so that’s good !

New interest is line dancing. Like a folks dance. At first I thought it’s something over 40+ yrs ppl were into. So started to join the class thinking this is not gonna be any harder than body jam or any other dance routine. Just when I thought I could dance, this class prove me wrong. Try it sometimes. Looks boring but the leg moves quite a mean deal.

Thanx ND for including me in your brilliantly fun nite of karaoke in conjunction of your bday. It was really fun and funny and crazy and on Monday nite! 1st time ever in my karaoke career, had someone sang "Extended remix" of dikir song and dangdut (moves included!!). I don’t mind off-key singer but off-timing !! Alamak…pening man pening !! Luckily I was able to head to work as usual…though I woke up to the freaky tune of dikir gambong?? kampung?? whatever la but the extended version.

Just been inform that Muslim can leave 430pm from work. Cool ! I hope my client leaves early too. Although lately, I manage my work load pretty well and keep everyone’s happy so that’s great.

I’m thinking this puasa would breeze through so fast I wont realize it’s already time for Aidilfitri. Looking forward to it coz that’s when I get to catch up with friends which we meet only during raya coz normally we’re busy with work and own life we never seem to find time to get together.

So me friends out there, SELAMAT BERPUASA & SEE YA DURING RAYA !
